It's less than a5 size. It's sketchbook type with very good quality paper.

Do you use any special ink for your Moleskine drawings? Most inks will bead on Moleskine sketchbooks, but your backgrounds look awesome...

well not always special ones...
I use cheapest black ink.
I use Winsor&Newton for colour parts.
But those are scanned pictures, they look so much different. Also I use photoshop.
