Well now that was very, very thoughtful. Thank you extraordinarily much! To be honest, I've been working on my photography since 2006, and all that I've learned are a few things with the technical sides of photography and some tips & tricks. We publish some neat phoot tips in the AirshowStuff Magazine I'm a partner with. Take a look at some of those articles. Your photos are looking pretty good, but just like mine, still have some work ahead; though you're off to a good start.

What really pushed me was a quote from Ed Shipley in a conversation we had over Airshowbuzz.com, "At the end of the day I really think all this art is about story telling. So I would encourage you to make sure that your art conveys a story or emotion." Made me rethink how I got my images.

At any rate, I can't thank you enough for the warm comments and the privellage to be mentioned in your journal entry. I appreciate it all. Thank you again!

There are many times I look at some of my more recent photos and I wonder "What possibly is there that I could improve on?", but then I see my older photos and realize I probably thought something similar back then, and I know that certainly I'll find something new.

I'll definitely look up that magazine though.

I started my photography early 2008, technically. I started with a cheap Kodak C743 camera that taught me some of the most basic of basics. When I got my Nikon late 2008, that's when things really started kicking in for me.

While NAS Whidbey Is hasn't been one of the places locally I've visited, that'll change (hopefully) in October when I make a photocall base visit so keep your eyes peeled for some highlights from that. And the lagoon there was one of my favorite Summertime vacation spots, as I live on the Olympic Peninsula. And while I'm still pretty far from good ol' Whidbey, I still get to enjoy those P-3s and EA-6Bs as they thunder and roar overhead.

alright cool cool. ya quite a bit of a plane enthusiast, there isnt super exciting things where i live (twin cities minnesota) other then like 2 airshows and i guess oshkosh isnt too far away. but ya ill keep an eye out for those NAS Whidbey pics and basically all your other stuff, its quite stunning.
