Well, I did write a Creation Story inspired by Gods Of Pegana if you want to read it:

Creation Of The WorldBefore the world as we know it was created, before the stars and planets, before humanity, there was Xaxu. Xaxu was the first being of the universe and he had nothing to do so he fell asleep after the first being he created, Rakshu, started playing a harp that sent him into a deep slumber. And when Xaxu fell into a deep sleep, he started dreaming and in his dreams, he created the first deities, who were of the sky and earth. The sky god, who is called Langthou, was created first while the earth goddess, who is called Kaarakto was created last. It was dark during these times, so the two deities mated with each other and created the sun god and moon goddess, who are also the fire god and water goddess, out of their union, and they themselves mated to create different deities who are the different forms of water and fire.  Langthou and Kaarakto mated once again and they created the star gods and goddesses who populate the entire sky and dance when the seasons happen and help those wh

Looked over it, avoided the spoilers, of course.

I can understand your concern, but i feel like it may be unwarranted. I have seen some of the Norse gods being total pricks, but not all of them are, such as the world snake, which is already a vast improvement. Also, i feel it's worth noting that kratos isn't being portrayed as a godling or a mortal, but a full on god, and look at him with his son, and only fighting things that started the fight, compared to when he just slaughtered indiscriminately. 

Basically, since we both (probably) don't know how it ends, lets just see where it goes and draw any concerns based on that, yeah?

Which is fair, but after going further in, I'm getting more skeptical that he'll kill ALL the gods. Maybe when you play it or watch a walkthrough, it might help give you a better idea of it's direction

Okay, the you should know that basically everyone he's killed in this game has actually been in self defense. Even when Freya swears revenge on him, he does nothing, which is something i wouldn't expect old Kratos to do. Even Ragnorok isn't something i can pin on him, since it's something that needs to happen in Norse mythology. I feel like some gods will still die, but I'm pretty sure the causality count will exponentially diminish.
