yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I know =_= I'm so lazy lately. I had a goal to draw one new picture a week...but I was also supposed to sew one thing a week, practice German 30 mins a day, practice piano 3 times a week, work out 1 hour a day, learn to crochet, and about a dozen other things. I want to do so much that nothing ever gets done. It's quite the problem. In any case...I SHOULD do more stuff. I like to do stuff and I think I'm not so horrible at it that it's a waste of time...so yeah. I'll try!

Sounds like you have a lot on your plate. I used to do that to myself too, but now I cycle through my hobbies each month, like one month it'll be art stuff, and the next month it'll be some video game I want to finish, and the following month I'll have sewing parties with Toni every weekend. Just a thought.

I don't think I could do it for a whole month Maybe like a WEEK...but I'd get burnt out doing the same hobby everyday for too long. My main problem is the lack of...urgency? accountability? I don't know if either of those words are right...but when I have a deadline, it's a lot better. Unfortunately, no one but me cares if I do this stuff So even if I set deadlines for myself, there's no real motivation for me to actually do anything in a set amount of time. I need some kind of public accountability. That way my pride will motivate me to finish When I used to go to cons, it forced me to sew a lot. When I was really active on here a few years ago and had a ton of followers, it motivated me to draw regularly. When I was taking piano lessons every week, it motivated me to practice. When I was still single and trying to attract men, I needed to be hot so I worked out every day you get the idea. I thought my blog would help, but *I* didn't even look at it XD so yeah. I just need to find something else to motivate myself besides other people...that's the key...I guess? XD Or maybe I should just stop trying to do everything in the whole world

Or maybe you should just keep getting other people to motivate you. I completely understand that situation though; it's a lot easier to find time for drawing when people are expecting you and if you don't they'll think you're dead. When I suggested having an entire month dedicated to one hobby I really didn't mean every day. Working is my first priority and coincidentally takes up most of my time, but if I didn't do anything creative for the whole month it'd feel like I was dying. One successful hobby-related project a WEEK is good for me, maybe my standards for myself are low, but I just feel tired ALL THE TIME so...yeah.

Just make sure the important things are taken care of, like bills and other important junk. Also, I don't know if this counts for much, but *I* expect something from you on here by the end of the month. Maybe expect isn't the right word. There's your deadline.

ugh I know what you mean about feeling tired all the time -_- Even though I cut my hours back at work, I still feel like I have no free time (when I obviously do) - but when I DO have free time, I usually end up just reading or watching a movie or something. I think one creative thing a week wouldn't be so bad...I get what you're saying about 'low expectations', though. I always think to myself...I could accomplish so much and be good at so many things if I could just force myself to DO something! *sigh* I always feel like I'm wasting the talents I've been blessed with.

In any case, thanks for the deadline I'll draw something for sure by the end of the month!
