# About me

How I wish I had even a little of the artistic talents that make DA such an inspiring site. You are all so gifted. Instead of painting and drawing, I write stories. But I believe my stories inhabit the same world as so many of the wonderful paintings I see on DA and my imagination certainly does.
I have uploaded here some descriptive extracts from my stories in the hope that they might inspire some of you to depict in pictures what I've tried to say in words. I would be fascinated to see what new pictures might come from this idea and I will be honoured if any of you feel moved to respond.

Wow thank you so very much. My art is coming along a bit slow because my computer is slow and the 'real world' is so demanding. I will eventually have everything resolved though.

There's something so special in achieving so much with a single pencil! It's incredible. Some very great artists have done it: Holbein, Friedrich, Escher. I think your work is great, especially the two I chose. Thank you. I hope 2011 is a year of great inspiration for you.
