yeah, I know what you mean - 3d can be a bit sterile....its getting better though....eyes are one thing that they never seem to get right....bits of 'Beowolf' were really lifelike though....I like all animation really, I can even enjoy the Disney musicals as long as the story is good haha.

Really? Thanks sooo much! Yeah, Trash is a bit psycho but he means well. Thatβs why I hope people can still feel sympathy for him in the next episodes. I have actually tried a few animations that emulate my paintings so maybe one day I'll make a whole story.

Oh Maya, thatβs seriously a lot of work! I got as far as making a lizard once. But it didn't do anything except spin like on a display. And I didnβt even render skin texture or anything it was just a raw gray model. It took so long I said, "Forget it, I'll stick to 2D" XP so yeah, I can understand that. lol

True, but I tend to think it has more heart and soul than 3-d work. I mean I can be amazed by the visuals, but I tend to find that I never cry at any 3d cartoons during the "sad" parts. I think it only happened once in toy story 2 where Jessie the cowgirl is having a sad flashback on her owner. But 2-d cartoon are a different story...they can pull my heart-strings like nobody's business! lol One that comes to mind off the top is "The Matchstick Girl" that was a part of Disneyβs cancelled Fantasia movie.
