I've been sooo busy with life. It's quite sad actually, I feel my imagination slipping away every day I don't do something creative or artistically productive. I was looking over some of your work just yesterday and was thinking of giving the 100 day challenge another shot but I just don't have the time.. and a slight case of writers block. But you seem to be doing fine, i'm glad your story is coming along well and it looks great so far. I've been getting ready for college in Michigan this fall and I went to Minnesota to visit some friends over winter break which was tons of fun. But it's back to reality ( school work and Taekwondo/demo team) for now. What about you? How have things been for you and how was your holidays?

I know how you feel. I did little to almost no writing during last semester and I feel disappointed with myself. So this semester I'm determined to do things differently and find the right balance.

I see. Well don't push yourself too hard. It might make it harder for you to get back into the swing of things. If you've noticed I've stopped my 100 day challenge, partly in favour of working on my stories. I may return to it some time in the future, however. It was fun.

I'm fine, although dreading certain things, but I'm fine regardless. I'm trying to do things that will lessen my wordload over this semester and I think its working. Especially with the creative juices. My holidays were great, we had a bit of a scare but luckily it wasn't anything dire, saw lots of family and a few friends. Got lots of new books to read amongst other things.

Apparently my Mum was cleaning her room and stumbled upon a couple more presents meant for me. I haven't opened them yet but I'm curious. There's a total of five of them. xDDDD

You're welcome I appreciate how accurate your drawing of a real life picture is. In my opinion it's quite hard to do but you pulled it off well!

[laughs] Isn't that what life and school aim to do sometimes? Prevent doing what we love. Still I used to draw and write but now I've focused solely on writing and draw once every blue moon.

Yeah, 2nd yr university is a bit of a drag in some areas (got 4 essays to do on top of everything else) and people asking me to go places and such. But I've gotten a majority of the reading out of the way, now I just have to finish some of these essays and then focus on studying and possibly acing some of this stuff. xDD

Pity that there just isn't enough time in a day to get everything done unfortunately!

HOWEVER I have been at work with a novel that I'm considering getting published, so its not a complete waste of time. And I've been feeling a bit down lately and writing it seems to be rather uplifting for me, which is a GOOD sign. Plus it just feels like publishable material, unlike my other one. xDDD

And I'm doing some short stories to post up on here -- but first they have to pass the test -- my friend whether or not they're worth reading. So expect something good soon . . . hopefully, if uni doesn't kill me first. xDD

Hey, thanks. I got a question that might seem a bit.. odd.
I can't seem to get a ID pic up. Even when I go through the process of uploading one into the "ID photo" category.
Any tips on how to get it to work? o.0
Plus do you have to use your own work for the ID, would it be plagerisum to use a picture of someone else's work you just happened to like?

For the ID pic, you have to go to get the ID widget on your page.

THEN you have to access the EDIT page of the ID widget. With the EDIT, you can add text and you can add an ID pic you drew or took (like a photo) by clicking the CHOOSE A DEVIATION.

And yes it would be the best (and the SAFEST) way to use your own work for the ID, rather than someone else's work. They take it pretty seriously here on dA.

BUT you can put it up as your WEBCAM.
