Thanks...I find that's really the best way to make your art original. Take the tools you like and figure out your own style. I really like the style you've discovered over the course of your hard work and time. Keep on perfecting what your doing, and screw the nay-sayers. :) (Smile)

I did something new this week that I caught from a guy in a photo competition. You might want to take a look. It's a way to edit our the stuff behind the cars. The photo is Dale's Whale on my Feature's page. It's white on black. I'd like to know your thougths.

That's sweet. What's he using. Looks like layers, adding the floor with some kind of 3D program.
I'm still trying to figure out what tools your using to get your cars to look surreal.
If I remember right, you said your used CS5.5 and Lightroom. It looks like your using a HDR editing tool, with several layers in CS 5.5. I need to learn how to do both. Did you see the new tools coming out with CS 6?

I don't know what happened, because when I took a class back when adobe just came out with CS, I could work in Layers. For some reason I can't get them to merge onto the same page i'm editing in. They just keep making a new work space.
One problem is I didn't start getting serious with Photography editing until CS 5.5. Instead I took a stab at making films. Film, well lets say you need a good crew with real actors that believe in your vision and will work for pennies. ( not to many interested in doing that) I'm sure if I had cash to pay everybody, I would have greater results.

Did Dale give you the secrete he's using to create the floor? If so, help a brother out. :) (Smile)

I created the floor in this photo. I cut the car out in one layer, in another I cut around the asphalt surface below the car leaving the car in the layer on top of that. I added a rectangle under the parking lot surface to create a border.
Yes I use photomatix pro for HDR as well.
