# About me
I go by the name Dancemat Dan but my friends call me Dan. I am an artist who has a lot of experience using such programs like Photoshop but also likes to experiment with Paint on Canvas.A lot of my work has been very experimental to try to improve my skills as a painter and digital artist but most recently my work has been based around video games and some of the psychological issues which surround the gaming community such as depression, aggoraphobia and escapism.
My most recent work this year has been based around my own characters, while developing a story of their own from actions within the game interacting with other players in a fantasy world.
I have passed my courses I have studied which are BTEC National Diploma in Design, Level 0 in Arts and Design and BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art which took a total of 6 years after comprehensive school.
Right now I am currently working on a few ideas for a comic/story/video game.
