I'm a fan, bro. I'm not rabid or anything, but I like your work, have enjoyed following your progression, and want to offer what little support I can. I know you do this mostly for shits and giggles, but you have more skill than you give yourself credit for. I honestly believe if you wanted to make a statement, you have it in you to do so.

Rob in the past you have posted some great things in the news forums, a few I downloaded and shard with students, your a great thinker and no one fucks with you or of they try you reroute their sphincter , i love that. Is there a way i can get these or are the lost in the white underbelly DA news forums for evermore?

I spent some time after reading this investigating the current structure of DA. I found it amazing, considering the fact that, on the surface, it still looks similar to the way it did say, 3 or 4 years ago, how much has changed, and how much is gone.
There was an entire area where articles and editorials were located, which I can no longer find. I don't know if the information is archived, but if it is, it is no longer accessible from the online site. You'd have to somehow contact DA, and then they'd have to care enough to bother to give you access to the archived database, assuming they didn't just delete the information/files as they modernized the site. I suspect, Armin, that when they decided the entire section was no longer to be used on the site, they also decided that the information, articles, and opinions it contained were no longer worth keeping.
I swear to you that it is relationships like I have with you that provide the sole remaining reason for me to be a member of this site.

Rob i know at time you get down on the path that DA has been traveling but it people like you that keeps it a shining diamond in the first place. When i first read you writings and really more "challenges" i was immediately aware "yeah that's what DA is all about" opening people eyes from a ghost in the machine, you didn't go ape shit when people disagreed actually calmly set them straight with cutting wit disguising age old wisdom. Im here for the same reasons to fly the flag of traditional art, and give young people encouragement and kick them in the ass if they think they don't need a work ethic, passion and original concepts.
i have used a great deal of what i do have from you for classes and apart form all that stuff i just look up to you on what and artists should be. keep making art, and keep challenging all of us....................

I had to take down all my coolest songs from there. The reasons make sense, but it's personal, so you probably wouldn't honestly care. What I have up there now is slop demos and out takes, mostly. All That Still Remains, at the top of my list, is the notable exception.
