It's entertaining. I have no idea how you get it being "sad" in the slightest. People desire attention, even if it's in the slightest form, and once that attention is gained, it's entertaining to respond to it. It's basic human functions, same as how you're trying to gain my attention via comments section.

If you don't have anything to say on a comments section of a deviantArt page, then to me, you don't have anything to say in a private chat. Keep it public, as I don't want to discuss phylosophical-fedora shit on Skype.

And to me, I don't find it sad that someone is attempting to gain entertainment in any way they possibly could. Sure, you may find it "sad", no matter how deluded your definition would be to your own morals, but to me, conversing and rousing people's emotions in order to make them angry is very enjoyable in multiple ways.

And who said I wasn't trying to gain your attention via commenting?
