Thanks to you for sharing this with me! I know that taking the big step is very hard, sooo hard. The discrimination is something that murders us in several ways: words, actitudes, punches.... I'm out totally, my parents know that I'm lesbian, my friends, my brothers and sisters know too. Is a great feeling when you can do and say what you really feel. When you are FOR REAL.

My parents still do not know. I don't know if I will ever tell them. They wouldn't understand. All of my friends know and I think a lot of my coworkers know. Some people I work with, though, don't understand and make rude jokes. It's hard. I will keep being me and let them be bigots. I have more important things to do.

Busy busy. Working mostly. Six days a week leaves not a lot of free time but it pays the bills. I've been spending half the week with my lovely girlfriend in Columbus and then the other half of the week with the family in Findlay. I have also made the decision to get healthier and have joined a gym. I have one in Findlay and one in Columbus. Other than that, I've hit sort of a creative roadblock and I've been trying to kick myself in the butt to start writing. What blows is I was writing a submission in January and my hard drive died and since I didn't have it backed up, I lost it and all drive to rewrite it once I got my computer back.
So in short... pretty much the same old thing! How have you been?
