In situations where you don't want to cart a full-size tripod, but want some stability, it might be what you're looking for.

I don't play DF2 - although I found Delta Force 2, Dragon Fist 2 and Dark Fall 2 so I'm not sure which one it is, or even if I've been on a demo or something - but my main game's Unreal Tournament (all variations) and I generally keep the same nick on forums/games so he may have seen me around.
