We actually just came home last night from BishieCon in St. Louis, where we were running an art table. We did pretty well... ~RhineGold sold a bunch of her hairfalls, so we're hoping that working a much larger con, like MTAC, will bring in even more money.

as of last night i officially had to drop being a project executive for personal reasons. its sad too because i was really excited about doing this. but there are things in life that unfortunately take precedence and there were certain compromising things going on with the convention work too. i'm not the only one who had to drop out. 3/4 have dropped out so far.

That happens, sometimes... as long as someone is able to take up the segments of work you had to let go, then it shouldn't be a problem. It's best to put yourself before other commitments, though. Living otherwise is pretty unhealthy... perhaps next time around, you'll be in a better position to work for the con. I'm assuming family stuff came up?
