I work at an Animal Clinic/Grooming place & we've had an influx of puppies recently (surrendered litters mostly) & they're all so cute.. Most got adopted already, but we have about 5 left still (from 3 litters), and a couple more to come back from an adoption event.. Ah puppies..... They're messy to clean up after when we don't have a momma with em, but they're cute enough to make up for it (plus potty training works wonders! lol) ^^

We've had quite a few puppies come in as well, but most of them have been 2+ months. We don't get too many really little pups. Our always go fast, it makes me feel bad for the older dogs, but I guess I can't blame people for wanting a cute little pup.
Puppies are the messiest! Especially right after being given de-wormer or vaccines XD
I took a litter of kittens home from the shelter last winter because they were too young to survive on their own, and they had been separated from the mom by some not-so-smart humans. Their eyes weren't even open yet! I had to bottle feed them, and then rub their private parts to stimulate them to go pee/poo. That lasted for about 3 weeks, and then I was able to wean them to milk-replacer and wet kitten food. They were so messy! I have a new sympathy for the animal moms who have to put up with that on a regular basis XD

We got most of them at about 6wks old, I think.. One litter was 4wks, & then Bob/Joe were 2, I think.. It was crazy! YES! Deworming puppies is THE WORST! Ugh changing pens more than 3 times a day & each time they mess the new blanket it seems ><
Same, I feel bad for the older ones too.. But when we sent the majority of our rescues to an adoption even w/ a lady who also does adoptions, all but 2 got adopted & most of them were over a year old! So I was happy about that (the two who didn't get adopted probably didn't "perform" very well. They tend to appear standoffish & are really shy.. More for one person than being in a crowd ><)
Awh, that was a sweet thing to do! I hope you enjoyed them among all of the mess & hectic.. but at least when they're with the mother, she cleans up their mess so people don't have to. That also tells you when to start potty training & helps keep them somewhat clean!

That sounds like a big handful! We have indoor/outdoor pens in our shelter, and so on warm days we would rotate the pups between the inside and outside, and clean the dirty pen while the pups were in the other XD. All our pups this year so far have been at least 2 months old though, so the mess hasn't been too bad.
I'm glad that many were adopted! I feel bad for the shyer ones. They really don't get time to shine with all the busyness of being at a shelter or adoption event.
I actually really enjoyed it. It was a little stressful at times, but I love taking care of baby animals ^_^
And it was a really nice feeling when I got to watch them get adopted a few months later.
Yeah, I love it when babies come in with a mom! And I always start potty training as soon as the pups are ready, and no later! The sooner they get it down, the happier everyone is.
