so as it took my busy arse this long to finally break open the game, i can say i love it.
cannot wait for the full game.
i have 2 things to say though, the scene where the 2 are talking at the park will freeze sometimes and i have to restart. no idea if it downloaded wrong or something but it has a 30% chance to just freeze. i discovered this because of thing 2 which was it felt like a railroad. no matter the option you choose they each lead to the same thing but one is slightly faster or slower. i restarted a couple of times trying to see if different choices or actions would trigger things but nope. like a choose your own adventure book but the choices don't really matter.
anyway, besides that yeah. i liked it. if the 2 things above look ill intended, i swear it isn't i just suck at explaining.

The demo you played was specifically a peek into Arno's memories. Its not happening in real time but in the past. Therefore the choices of the player do not matter because it already happened. And the player can't significantly change the past.Β
The choices of the player impact the story in the majority of the full game because the game happens in the present. But for the sequences where Nule is exploring the minds and memories of others, the player has less control. Does that make sense?
I'm not sure about the error you got. That hasn't happened with any of my testers that I know of. Try re-downloading and closing other processes while launching the game.Β

I apologize for spamming the ever living heck out of your inbox. I just found your deviant a couple of days ago and have been benge reading your adorable, well written and extremely engaging comic. Love it, love it. Sad I got caught up in it and have to wait for the next page but I'm going to re read it to my son who happens to be named Lucian. Just a heads up thought. The story is pretty tame right now but keep in mind that this story does contain a few rather adult themes, such as genocide, depression and suicide and death, which can get pretty heavy in future chapters. Not sure how old your son is, but I just thought I'd let you know just in case. I'm sure you'll use your best judgement when the time comes.

He is young so we can always skip the parts that are out of his depth or I can change up the words as I read it to him. I could already tell that it was going to have its dark and intense parts since you already covered subjects such as prejudice and slavery.
