No worries!  My best friend completely forgot (and seems to have still not realized..she does this every year ), and my dad managed to forget after he signed my birthday card my mom got the night before!  XD  My family (and me) are in denial about me being 20 now.  Especially my mom's parents.  They say they can't possibly be old enough to have a 20 year old grandchild!  

Thank you very much for the birthday wishes!  Really brightened my day!  Actually, I'm back in Alberta now after exams.  Though I did get to do a bit of beach walking in the sun before I left!  My mom and I spent two days skiing at Lake Louise after I got back for my birthday, which was awesome as I'd never skiied there before.  Its sad how late the ski hills stay open!  It snowed at home the day before and after my birthday.  Darn Canada!  XD  Hasn't been too cold though.    Has it snowed on you at all recently?

That's so sweet of you!  I look forward to seeing it!  I know whatever you draw will be awesome!    I'm hoping to get work done on a bunch of the art projects that I started last summer, and hopefully finish some if not all!  I had zero time to read last semester, and have been doing a lot of catching up recently before my job starts up!  Just finished the 1080 page book my little sis got me for my birthday; Brandon Sanderson's "Words of Radiance"  Quite good, though quite thick and the author apparently plans on having ten books in the series.  This is the second.   O.o  

Love you too!   Hopefully we both are able to fit in some fun and art with our jobs this summer!  And maybe you might be able to do a livestream sometime when I'm able to catch it!    Have a wonderful week!

You're very welcome!  I love your Tron Axel, especially his visor.  Very cool outfit design.  The only thing missing is what sort of chakram/identity disk he would have.

Hey! Yeah, sadly work is eating up my life like school did. I was working at a walmart garden centre, and am now in electronics. I have been slowly working on a sewing project, but no other art is getting done! I am back in Alberta for the summer My province had massive flooding, but I am on a hill and thus am ok. Got a bunch of overtime though.
Did you see pacific rim or despicable me 2? I have been wondering about going to see one, but am not sure which to pick.
What have you been up to this summer? Any travel plans? I wanted to get out to the mountains but then the roads and trails got washed out. O.o Have you registered for fall courses yet?

I'm sorry again for the time it took me to answer, I was off of deviant art for too long.

So here I am trying to get news again! xD

I didn't see any of these movies, but I surely plan to! I really liked the second Hunger Game Movies though!
This summer was mostly spent at work, I found a job in a little computer store in my town.
I'm pretty happy with this job and I have a good schedule that fits with my school's one!

I didn't travel much and it was raining almost all the time when I had a couple days off, so I didn't take much photos, but I was able to make a trip to a zoo and take a bunch of pretty neat pictures.
I plan on doing it again soon enough while there is pretty snow everywhere. There is one with a bunch of baby animals like a baby red panda and I wanna take pictures of them!

How about you? How was your second half of 2013?
Are you happy with your classes? Do you have any plans? ^^

Don't worry about it; I'm a couple weeks into a new semester and it is The Calculus Strikes Back.  (the assignments take over an hour for one question… ).  My last semester was kinda hectic.  Several of my courses had 3 or 4 midterms, and often near weekly assignments, so it was go go go!  And not in a fun way!  This semester all my profs are kinda crazy (and not in a good way) except my sedimentary geology prof.  She's awesome (so far).  She keeps bringing in neat rocks to pass around.  

The second hunger games movie was great!  I liked it a lot better than the first one.  Not super excited for the third though as I didn't like the book.  

My plans are to pass calculus so I never have to take another math course!!!!  I'm trying to do decently well on assignments and midterms so when I inevitably bomb the final it won't be too bad! D:

I AM SO GLAD I AM DONE WITH THAT!

It was pretty much the same for me, I've been warned since the beginning that object oriented programming 3 was the hardest of the 4 courses, and it was.
I'm glad it's over and now I'm taking the 4th and it's like a little health walk in a park xD
This semester seems pretty easy as of now, but it's just beginning. And I still love what I'm learning!

I didn't read the book, but my brother told me the same thing. xD

I did the same last year, I'm so happy I don't have to do maths anymore!

I'm still taking programming courses, I love it so far! I can't wait for warm time to get back though. Snow and cold is nice and pretty, but not very camera-friendly! : P

Do you have any plans for your next vacations? :3 Any idea what you'll do once you'll be done with school? O:

I had a great year being your friend! Sorry I haven't been on lately; finding a summer job and then working was just leaving me dead at the end of the day. And then my province flooded on me. Just curious, did you hear much about the alberta flooding in the UK? Thankfully my house was fine, but it made for interesting times!

You can buy luster dust from Pheil and Holing. It's a cake decorators supply company. I hope I spelled it right. To use luster dust you can apply it dry with a soft brush to chocolate , or mix it with a little vodka to make a detail paint for icing or gumpaste work. If you are trying it for the first te start with gold. Have fun !

Thank you so much! Here, I give you some of my cake I did have a great day! My parents and I went out for dinner at Tony Roma's, which has great ribs and bellinis that have mango and passionfruit juice in them. ...are there Tony Roma's in the states? I was especially glad that I have FINALLY had some spare time to do art inbetween job searching. I've got one small canvas fully sketched out, and another with Rei sketched on it and the background is in progress. I may upload the messyish but completed sketch on canvas cause I haven't uploaded anything in so long and am super excited about how it turned out. I'm pretty sure that one of the dragons is the best dragon I've ever drawn, thanks to help from a How to Draw Dragons book for the anatomy. I've uploaded the sketch into my gallery (will probably move it to scraps soon, just wanted to say I'm alive ).

I got a necklace with a celtic knot from my parents (I really like celtic knot designs), and a pair of earrings (recently got my ears pierced). My little sister gave me a sea dragon figurine which I have stereotypically named Nessie. I plan to try sketching him later.

Sadly I am still camera-less, though my Dad has promised to get me a new one before the end of the summer.
