Ehh maybe the cons all depend on opinion really.
Animeland Makiba last year was fun even if we did end up having a ton of problems with venue and stuff and last minute switching. This year they seem to have every dead set in stone and making sure there are no problems.

Supercon just came out this year and they constantly update their facebook page with information and offers on things. So I think they're most likely trust worthy and they actually reply to people on there c:
supercon is also the cheapest with their passes a 3 day pass at the door is only $18
