Aw, thanks so much hun it really means a lot to me to hear how much you liked it. I'm going to start updating my blogger that is linked in this page if you want to 'stalk' me there for sketches and other work but other then that this is the primary place for my finished art. And I was curious if you'd mind if I posted the commission here? I'd re-size it to very small but just to give others a peak at it I thought it might be fun to post as long as you didn't care. I cried when 10 fell on the floor after *** and then got teary eyed when he said *** right before he left. ;3; He had me at 3D glasses but just from what I know of 11 I think I'll like him as well.

Mostly only photoshop but when I'm not at home I
use the 6 pack of Reeves sketching pencils w/
a combo of coloring tools like markers and colored pencils.
I'm not as skilled as I'd like to be with illustrator it
takes too much talent.

I used to swear by Illustrator, back in the day. I could rock it hard and Photoshop gave me much trouble. I only really opend up to PShop after I got my Wacom tablet.(Now I use AutoCAD in my job, which is a more technical Illustrator, in my opinion)

Anyhooo... how's the hand doing?

Its getting better the scars are almost all
the way closed so I can draw now as long
as I have them wrapped to cushion the cuts, other wise
they hurt. <:T How's it been with you?

Good, good, I'm glad you're feeling (mostly) better. I did see you had some new arts up, and I've totally failed at commenting on it. So, I'll do it here. Your new arts is spiffy, very well done.

Speaking of wrapping hands to draw, I once punched a... wall... and... *cough* hurt my drawing hand (which is why I now punch walls with my left hand, I don't use it for anything!). Anyhoo, it was effed up for about a month, specifically the pinky which is where allll the weight goes when ya draw. I tried various methods to help it, and eventually settled on nothing working. Gloves, all that stuff, useless. Fascinating story, I know.
I sometimes wear my fingerless bicylcing gloves when it's winter, and the Wacom tablet gets ice cold... but that always messes me up, the extra 1/8 of an inch of height my hand is off of the tablet.


Anyhooooo. I'm good, I've finally gotten some real momentum with art and have been working like crazy on various projects. I'm hoping this burst of inspiration keeps up, so I can get much done. I hates the art block weeks, gotta take advantage of my drive while it's here.

Wow, well I guess its a good thing you at least
think to punch with the other hand now and YES that
extra one eighth of an inch makes all the differnce
when drawing! <:0
I'm just 'lucky', dur heer, that most of the damage was tword my pointer finger.
And heck yes with getting back to art I'm drawing
almost every day now after not being able
to for so long and its actually making me happier on
a whole. I feel like my day to day is just better for it.

Are you already planning for AZ 2011? I know
I am just have to stalk the page come time for table
sign ups and the best part is I'll be living back
up in Raleigh in the next few months so hazaah to that!

Well, I'm mostly trying to not punch things, as it's all part of my attempts to better control my anger issues. But, yeah, if I feel like punching something, I try to use the lefty.

It's amazing how periods of constant art can make us happy. I can't speak for all artists, but my "bipolar" life does seem to be affected a lot by "lotsa art" and "art block". I've been quite happy as a whole this past few weeks, which is a nice change coming off of months of being bummed (and incidentally, barely drawing during that time). I think you're on to something....

As for Animazement, I tend to spend the whole year planning for it. Now, June to Dec usually has me doing personal art, stuff I want to draw for myself, with some scatter AZ pieces, although those are still likely a personal piece that can also be sold (unicorn barbarian). Then, December ends up being "Christmas art" month.But, around Jan/Feb I start to really get serious about making AZ arts.
Since May, I've been planning to move towards a new path for making AZ art. I have put a lot of thought into it, and based upon my sales in the past few years, I think I'm going to stop trying to sell a lot of my "good art", and just keep making funny, amusing art. My best sellers last year was BFF and Zombie Hug. So, expect to slowly see more Unicorn Barbarian" type of funny pics over the next 8 or so months.

That's a long answer to your question, the short answer is "yes, already planning".
