That's an old (and the only) time I really drew him though, so his design will be a little different. Instead of a normal tail, it is a dark gray outlet plug. So he's basically a gray cat with an old computer face and a plug for a tail. Basically. :I Hehe. And he doesn't really have to have a mane. He just has a fluffy head that's slightly darker than the rest of him. Oh, and the music notes are irrelevant and don't need to be drawn. So, in essence his design for the icon is simpler than in my doodle.
Pose:
He can be sitting and looking forward (out at the viewer). A smirk can be on his screen, like so: :} (right side up though, not sideways). And I'm not sure if the screen will be too visible at such a small size, so if you need to adjust his proportions and make his head bigger, kind of chibi-ish(...?), then that's fine, if that makes any sense at all and would prove helpful in your pixeling endeavors. His tail is visible by his side, too.
Animation:
Maybe his head could bob up and down occasionally, or tiny yellow sparks can come from his tail.
