And yes I do think James McAvoy is hot. I loved him in The Last King of Scotland. Fantastic stuff. he's not hot in that conventional way though. he's got that wiry, witty guy attractiveness about him.

Finally found some time (hey, that's not as easy as it would seem - yes, I know I'm a student, but... erm... where was I?) to follow your advice and read the rest of the novel. Really like the way it's written and drawn. Strangely, I find myself being more interested in the setting than the characters yet, wondering what has changed in those fourty years. Well, I guess, there will be some hints as the story advances; patience is one thing webcomics make you learn.
