Hey, I just realized that you are a fan of The Producers. That movie was one of the things that Michael and I had in common when we first started dating. I had seen it on TV and the song Springtime for Hitler had gotten stuck in my head. It's not exactly the sort of thing that one wants to walk around singing in public.

I'm sure that some of my German ancestors would approve of that song, but it is horrible, horrible, horrible. Maybe since a basic knowledge of World War II and the holocaust is necessary to understand how truly sickly funny The Producers is, it will in someway keep the memories alive.

My History classes in high school were very boring, but I did well. I like learning about history on my own.
Michael and I really enjoy going to the UPenn museum and seeing the artifacts (even though I have a little voice in my head that keeps on telling me that this is all "dead peoples stuff.") I also love the older works at the Phila Art Museum.
The History channel seems to be about Hitler far too often for my taste. I mean I really didn't need to know that he suffered from chronic gas, but maybe that explains some of his temperment.

haha, i know. they have this silly hitler marathon on now. its a bit much. like, all of a sudden, everyone has an obsession with WW2, what with video games, specials, and movies dripping out of the collective media'a anus. (ew, that was a bad analogy...) well, whatever. i love the art museum, and especially looking at all the suits of armor and stuff. i especially love watching the wanna-be art snobs telling people all the wrong things about the paintings and stuff. hehe. my history classes are alright, i guess, i mean, i've only taken 2 years of history now, even tho i took 3 years worth...if that makes any sense. the thing about classes are, you have to have the right people in them for them to be interesting. hehe.

I love the toy knight that is in the armour room at the Art Museum. I can almost see a child playing with it. It's a shame that the little wooden horse that he rode on wasn't preserved.

Last summer, Michael and I did the audio tape tour of the armor exhibit. (I keep wanting to put a "u" in armor.) It was really interesting. We try to focus on different areas, rather than the entire museum each time we go. We should be going there again soon.
