I know it's not my place to intervene, and Blairhound, don't get mad, but is it really okay for everyone to yell her out like that? Leave nasty comments and such on her main page? No. It's not.
The thing is, if this girl is responsible for theft and whatnot, then Blair, and Blair alone, should deal with it in private. Not tell everyone about it so they can go and flame her. Really, how would you like to be reamed out by another artist's fans, when the matter only existed between you and that artist?

Look, child. Blair can ask for help in killing these idiots who rip her off. It's not illegal. If she sent a note to this girl, and no one gave a public offense, do you honestly think she'd get the idea? No. Earlier she denied blatantly stealing them, and right after, when faced with proof of it, she apologized. Besides, other people would have seen her icons and recognized them right away, and there's no way that Blair could control them all from er... expressing their feelings of rage.

Did I ever say I was trying to preach at Blair? No. I was saying these things to people who like Blair, and decide to take matters into their own hands, and making the "theif" feel worse. Really, how would you feel if something like this happened to you? Would it make you happy that complete strangers are screaming at you for something they don't fully understand? I had something similar happen to me, when there was a perfectly fine explanation. But of course, I had people leaving hateful messages on my main page, without even knowing how the artist and I had resolved things. So I had complete strangers telling me that I was a terrible person and whatnot, without even knowing me. Tell me that isn't just a tiny bit silly?
And see how I didn't know the whole story, yet I was able to go making assumptions about things? This is the kind of thing I mean. A lot of these people probably had no idea what was going on, as far as specifics go.
I am not mad at Blair....Hell....I feel sorry for her that she had her icons stolen. It's such a terrible shame when people can't post their art, for fear that it'll get stolen. All I'm saying is just for people to lighten up, and not all flame her at the same time.

Well, that's how I read your post. And uh. Next time, if you don't want to target Blair, but rather the other people who are taking action against this kind of crap, you should make a note of each and every one of their names rather than grouping them all together as "fans of Blair's art." You know, I have beef when people don't even care or take the time to see what other people have to say over crap like this. It makes me wonder why I even bother with them, or in this case, you.

But before you said there was a perfectly good explanation for this girl to use Blair's icon bases... and now you feel badly for her because they were STOLEN? So, what you're saying, is that one minute, to prove your point that this girl is innocent as a rainbow, she only traced the bases... and now, to prove some kind of brown-nosing allegiance to Blair, she just flat-out stole.
As for flaming at the same time, what? Would you prefer that everyone took turns "flaming" her? I don't see it as flaming as much as I see it as the freaking truth. But I won't go on about the actual issue, as it's resolved, and it's been resolved for a while, just know that you're rather hypocritical trying to point fingers at Blair for her frustration with this crap, while you want to go at it with other people yourself. Listen. I'm not taking your side or anything, contrary to what some people think. I am just as pissed off at you, I just find these things very irritating.
As far as knowing Blair, I don't. I just happened to come across this in passing, and felt I'd make a few comments. I'm not extremely upset for her, being that (1) I don't know her, and (2) she seems to have been able to handle the situation properly.
I just want people to understand how ridiculous it is, to go and flame someone who they don't even know, just because they happened to take a certain artist's side.
