# About me

I began focusing on photography quite some time ago, I studied photography on college, I later realised that I didn't want to work as professional photographer, since it would prevent me from photographing the things I really wanted to. Thus I nowadays consider myself an amateur/hobby photographer.

I'm Emil btw, I study museology at Umeå university in Sweden. I like History, beagles, fishing, nature, lonesome walks, a good book and meaningful conversations. Also the color green.

About photography, I find it very enchanting and thrilling to look upon it as a way of capturing and framing moments of time and history, because once you have taken a photo there's a faint voice in the back of your head telling you that the same moment will never repeat itself again, for every moment is unique in its own way.
It's kinda my way of combing both my intrest in history with my intrest of photography.

I photograph because I enjoy it, it's a good way to vent my creativity and learn more about my surroundings.

"Wie es eigentlich gewesen" I want my photography to show how the things around me really are, that's why you won't find any photographs majorly improved or conceived by Photoshop. Let's face it, things look better the way they really are.
