Dear Krista, To explain the use of oils would take me a few pages. I teach artclasses and I guess the main problem with oils is that you need to be courageous and not give up to soon. It took you some time to perfect your skills with the pencil, wich you perfected very well if I may say so!!! So it will surely take several efforts to be master of the oil-medium. I always start off with a base of acrilic paint. Than later on finish off with oils. The oilpaint creates a lot richer and deeper colour.Thats all for now. Succes!!! Love Love Love Love Love
