i really like your art i love the subject matter wildlife it kinda puts me in the mind national geographic. i really love the detail on the crocodile, my only thing is i wish your pictures was a bit darker some of the lines in your earlier post are a little to light other than that i like everything else, keep it up :) (Smile)

oh well no problem i see that it is very helpful i used to struggle at markers the main reason i stuck to colored pencils markers are unforgiving cant afford a mistake, and at the time i was using markers only thing i really did was kinda like cell shading, color in the base color then do the shadow i did know much about layering and gradient/values i figured that out much later. At any rate awesome tutorial :) (Smile)

Thanks! I'm the opposite - I can do gradients without much issue, but cell shading is completely beyond me. I understand the concept and the basic idea but it just...SCARES me somehow. Every line is so bold and definite that you have to be absolutely sure about it.
Anyway, I'm glad you liked my sassy tutorial!

hey no problem i actual like the art piece you did it grabbed my attention because it kinda reminded me of a scene in a movie i saw, oh and thank you im glad you think my art is nicer and i think your art is good aswell we just have different styles i dont think anyone art is second rate, we are all learning and growing as artist,while i might excel in one area im sure you may be better than me in others. thats what makes it great i see something in your art that might help me in a area i struggle and maybe you find inspiration in a piece of mine we pull from one another and become better :) (Smile)

I like the overall style of your art too. The fact that it's original characters and not fan art is great, but the style you are developing is wonderful too. It is starting to mix Western and Eastern art in a very attractive way!
