ahh, they are the most fun thing ever. ok... well: there are two ways.... you can either go to the space below the comment box on the right, when you write a comment, and there is a little link that says "emoticons"... click that and it will bring up a table of emoticons and what their 'code' is. each one has a code with ":" on either side. so to make Yummy pie! you type : pie : without the spaces ^^^ :}}

there's another way which is called plz accounts, they are more complicated and harder to pick up cause there is no table that lists them. but they are very fun. so you can go
or or or
same thing, you use :: on either side. I love the emotes they are hilarious.
