Ya... The Oil Sands are only a small part of it. And compared to most oil production area's, Alberta is MUCH cleaner than most. Even though we get bad publicity. XD
But its Alberta. ^^ We've got Rolling prairies, Rising Mountains, and Beautiul rivers and lakes.
And... a really large mall. XD Hahaha

...Ummm. Lulz? And stores? I dont know. Ahhh forget it. Malls are just a place for teens to go angst and be all brooding... Thats why when i go.... ^^ I make little hats that say "Dont Worry, Be Happy". They is made of Paper. I get a little battery powered stereo, and play the song, while in the vicinity of brooding teens. Then i go out and usually Stealth place a hat on the most angsty kid i see in the group. ^^
...Well.. that was i did... until i got kicked out. Now.. i just go with friends.. to shop and make fun of society. ^^ Hehehe. It truely is fun if you have the right people.

It is free, has no borders joining other countries, didn't have a recession, sunny, I have no heating or warming bills, ever, easy to grow you own food, catch a fish when I want one, surf,...v high rate of literacy, free hospitals for all.
We are good at inventing things and making practical solutions very quickly. No fuss people.
Some Europeans think we are naive but in reality we are not yet jaded, and exceedingly polite to visitors. Vast majority of us travel the world.

The only problem would be that i pick up accents so easily. SO withing a week, i would have an Australian accent. >< im not even joking. I lived 2 months with a English borne Scot, who lived in Norway... That was an interesting accent. >< LoL
Well... Canada. More specifically, Alberta. Home of the Oil Sands, The worlds largest shopping mall, and Many many 'make work' road construction projects. >< Its snow about... 8 months out of the year. So for the next 4..... its ALL about getting road work done. Road work or road trips. Lol
We've got the Mountains on one side, and the slightly slanting plains to the other. (LoL. if you came to Canada, you would understand why thats funny. Saskatchewan looks like at the last minute, someone said "FINE! Shut-up, we'll put it in." on the map. XD Its 2 straight lines... well, 3 if you count the elevation level. XD)
Not many evil animals here. No deadly snakes. We've got Bears that will eat you, Cougars that will pounce you, and Moose that will Gore you. XD But thats to the West near the Rockies. I really just love Alberta. Hahaha. Some of the countries best colleges and Universities are here. ^^ I just love it. And the winters are so beautiful. So so beautiful.

I would have great trouble wearing the required amount of clothes in such cold. AS I don't believe in heating or cooling other than passive, I would look silly in a pair of shorts and a singlet and sandals. I have not worn a coat since last i visited your country.

Actually.. its been pretty nice to us so far. Only one dump of snow within the last month. And usually we are up to our knees right now. Hahaha. Ive seen a few people trying to live out the last rays of Fall... unfortunately when the wind picks up, it chills you to the bone. ><
