So, there's no particular way to say this without being awkward, partially because I'm an inherently awkward person, partially because this is a rather unconventional situation. Here goes:

You were, hands down, the best critiquer I've ever had. And, um, you might remember me from a little site called CC, and a story about people with weird names like James Weldone, Mr. Sleep, and Martin. I don't think there's any particular way to re-introduce myself without sounding /extremely/ creepy, considering the circumstances, but hear me out a little bit, I swear I'm not some sort of stalker.

What do you think about exchanging writing once in a while?

Lately I've been getting a little frustrated, because I wasn't getting remotely quality feedback for my stories. I've tried the writing groups around town- they didn't really have anything to offer, also everyone was ages older than me. I've also tried my friends, who are all completely lovely, but they don't like to give proper criticism because they're afraid of offending me, despite my protests. Their comments are always very nice, but leave me uncertain how to improve. I know that they're quite busy, too, since I share their nightly workload, so I tend not to give them very much to look at.

And so there I was, a storyteller with no audience, a slightly lonesome feeling.
And then I was like, hey! What about that awesome person, on that one site, who I haven't heard from since forever? But then I noticed your CC acc hasn't been very active, and so, feeling distinctly creepy despite the fact I had the twin anti-stalkerish excuses of 'Wow, it's late, I'm tired and not entirely sensible' and 'I'm procrastinating schoolwork, I'll do anything to occupy myself right now,' I did a search, and found we incidentally both have Deviant accs. Hi!

Hopefully I've justified myself to the point where you don't feel stalked. It's just a writing thing, I would really like a likeminded collaborator/writer/reader for these stories right now, and you seemed to like them well enough while critting me- I hope I'm not mistaken. (I’ve since improved, I think. It’s still astonishing to me that you managed to enjoy the first, unrefined bits of the story, it was very encouraging!)

If you're too busy and/or just not inclined to, just tell me, that's all fine, I thought it was worth a shot. Your crits did those stories a fair deal of good you know, you've done enough! /If/ you'd like to take a look, you should also know that the amount of effort you put in is totally up to you, I don't mind if you're a super busy person, and can only find the time to read a page a month or something. I'll do my best to make that page entertaining, haha.

So, yes, I am also trying to work on my tendency to overwrite as you can probably tell, and I probably shouldn’t have written this on caffeine. I also should probably get to the Hamlet essay I've been putting off by typing this. Goodbye, thanks for your time, no matter your decision.

Oh hi! Yeah I remember you and your story And don't worry, I've been stalked across the internet a surprising number of times In any case I find it flattering rather than stalker-ish haha. Yeah I really liked your story and I'd love to read more and critique it I stopped going on CC since uni started again for this year because I haven't had the time - I've barely got any of my own writing done and have little time to read, which really sucks. But as of next week I'll be finished for the year so I'd really appreciate having someone I could exchange critiques with actually because I intend to start writing again in earnest

So how would you like to do this? I can give you my e-mail address if you like, or if there's another way you'd prefer to send extracts just let me know

We could do it over google docs- the 'share' function for files works well for editing and organization and other logistic-y stuff. You'll have to make a gmail acc if you don't have one already, but I'm assuming that's not going to be a problem.
Next week is finals week for me, so you probably won't hear from me until the 4th or the 5th. After all that stuff is over, we can actually get started.

So yes, send me your email address so I can add you to the gdocs mini-conglomerate sometime after all the cramming is done. See you then!

Thank you! It's been such a long time since I wrote any poems but I'm glad you like my old stuff And thank you so much for sending me a message - it's been so long since I've written fanfiction but every now and then I'll get a review or a lovely message from someone and it still makes my day

I'm afraid stalking me might not yield anything since I'm pretty much completely inactive on the web these days (I should probably change that at some point...).

I used to have a fictionpress account with a couple of original stories but I actually took them all down about a year ago. I'm working on some other original stuff when I'm not too busy with university but none of it has made it online, I'm afraid. But I'm really flattered that you'd want to read my original stuff Maybe one day you'll find it in a bookshop (Haha, I wish).

Hi there! Don't worry - I'll definitely be writing more Gilbert/Roderich fanfiction. In fact, I've already started writing three XD But at the moment I have other priorities since I'm writing for a Valentines exchange over at LJ and planning the Duties spinoff, plus I'm writing a script for a Gil/Rod doujin that someone asked me to do. But I'll also try to finish one of my G/R fanfics sometime fairly soon~

You mean the promotional pic for my fic that someone drew? No, that's unrelated - there isn't any drawn material of the doujin yet since I'm just the writer and not the artist, and I'm still working on the script, which isn't related to any of my other fics. So the doujin won't be complete for a while since after I finish writing, the artist needs to draw it, but once it's uploaded I'll link to it on my LJ and FFN pages, and maybe it'll be available for download, depending on how the artist wants to share it with people. I hope that cleared things up, sorry for confusing you~
