Welcome to the world of the mysterious, elusive, original Manic Pixie.I've had this particular deviantart account for 8 years. My followers have seen me grow exponentially. I started as a shy, self taught, 18 year old girl with a ridiculous amount of angsty poetry and no real sense of the world outside the very sheltered life I was forced to lead.
Now, I'm a mom of a 2 year old daughter, I have traversed the culinary world through many stages - from prep cook, to line cook, to sous chef, to kitchen manager, to chef en residence, and back around to the front of the house as a server and manager.
About 3 years ago, many of you noticed that I stopped posting my writing. Some of you asked if I was working on something new and big. Some of you asked if something had happened to me. Truth is, I didn't just stop posting; I stopped writing completely.
I found myself trapped in an abusive relationship that left me broken in so many ways.
It's been a year since I left that situation, accompanied by my daughter, and I, like I never knew my namesake 8 years ago might mean, have risen from the proverbial ashes.
Now, you will see me waiting tables in the evenings, after which I'll come home to my beautiful 2 bedroom apartment that I share with my bright, happy daughter and my wonderful, handsome, sexy fiance.
