To anyone so concerned:
I have been thinking...many fandoms of many different shows have all kinds of lore (one of my favorites being that of Adventure Time), but yet any sort of lore for the world of My Little Pony eludes me.
It appears Lauren Faust has failed to explain many aspects of their world (the physics of magic and things related thereof, history prior to the first three pony tribes, religious and pious beliefs of the ponies, just to name a few).
So, if anyone is as enamored by this as I am, please feel free to share your thoughts and ideas about this subject on my page (if this is the wrong way of doing this, I do so apologize).
