I started getting into 3D about 5 years ago, and just graduated from the Art Institute about a month ago.
If you want to learn more about 3D, my favorite resource is Gnomon Workshop online (or hard-copy) videos. They have professional video lessons on just about every aspect of 3D you can think of.

I erally was too. >< I felt really bad for always looking to my camera.

Once during the show I commented that he had his coat off, and my mom was like 'He's had it off for a long while now..." 8D That proves it, I guess.

You have some really great pieces in your gallery, the ones that stood out the most in my opinion are Kirby, hummingbird in graphite and the "Fakali" one, the wings are amazing! Unfortunately It wont let me leave any comments on that particular image tho :( (Sad)

Maya is a very difficult program to get a grasp of. Don't worry tho, like anything else you just need to spend some time noodeling around in it and eventually you'll get the hang of things. I strongly recommend you do this, as having a basic knowledge of the program can open many doors for you that you may not have previously considered for your future.
