But what I wanted to ask was: is there a program you have to use to put the frames together once they're scanned? And how do you submit an animated deviation?

Yeah, that is a big peeve of mine as well when they just add random clips. Especially when a song fits so well, but they don't do much to edit it. I understand it's a hard process, but even editing it a little makes it just that much better. But, I digress.
