Well first of all....he's sexy. XD LOL. I was attracted to him ever since I first saw him back when I was 17 that day in 2001. LOL. Although I didn't admit it as openly back then...I felt weirder about liking a non-human character in that way. LOL.

Haha, that's true! I remember being in the theaters when I realized that I found an animated character attractive for the first time. I was a little weirded out with myself, but then I got more open to the idea as I got older. Now I have all sorts of animated crushes. I see you do a lot of cosplays! Is it fun? I've always wanted to do one. ^^

Was Randall the first animated character you were attracted to or was it someone else? He wasn't the first one for me since I was already 17 when MI came out and I first started feeling attracted to guys more around when I was about 12. I didn't even understand it back then though. LOL. Although liking Randall was still awkward at first because he wasn't a human character so it felt weirder to me for a while.

I'm like you, I started feeling attracted to guys around that age too. I might have been around 10 or so when I first started liking them. I think my first crush was on a fish from Finding Nemo. xD I didn't rally understand it either at the time, but I always remember watching that film just for that certain fish. xP Who was the first animated character you were attracted to? Yeah, I know what you mean about Randall, but he's personified and has so many human qualities that he almost is human if you know what I mean? I think that's why we like him. =3

I was never attracted to anyone in Finding Nemo....but anyway, it's not weird and most people who are attracted to fictional animal characters aren't attracted to real animals. It's just that in these movies the characters are really human-ized, they talk....etc. So I think that's how it happens.

I think the first animated character I was attracted to was Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame. LOL. I know it sounds really weird since I was like 12 at the time and Frollo is some old guy.

Oh and sorry I forgot to answer your question about cosplay that you asked me the other day. Yes I like cosplay and it's fun to a degree although I haven't actually done many characters.

Finding Nemo was one of my first favorite animated movies. I guess I've always loved animated movies, even from a young age. I agree with you though, most people who like fictional animal characters are not attracted to animals in real life. The characters in films can do things that animals can never do. They act like humans, talk like humans, etc.

Oh my god, I absolutely love the Hunchback of Notre Dame! It's one of my favorite films. Do you have a lot of favorite Disney films? And lol, it doesn't sound weird. I actually know a lot of Frollo fans. I like Clopin a lot myself. xD

Well most kids like animated movies. XD It's less likely that people still will when they are adults...but I'll probably always like them since I'm almost 30 now and still like them. I don't see animated stuff as just being for kids.

Also, no it's not weird to like Frollo, I agree...I don't feel weird about it now. It's just that when I first liked him I was 12 and he's like 50-60 isn't he? I mean, a 12 year old liking a guy who's that age would probably be a pedo's dream. -_- So that's why I feel weird about it. Now that I'm an adult, I don't feel as weird about liking him.

Anyway, well the only specific character I've cosplayed is Envy from FMA. I've also dressed up as a Slytherin student from Harry Potter but that was just me as a student, not any specific character. It was just what I would look like as a Slytherin student is really what it was.

When I go to conventions dressed up though I find it kind of awkward because the attention makes me nervous since I'm a pretty introverted person. So I'm not really sure how much of it I'll keep doing/how many characters I'll end up doing...but it's not a priority for me. I don't really do a lot of characters like some people.

Lol, that's true! I guess I seem to forget that sometimes because I've gotten more into animated films as I've gotten older. I guess that's probably the opposite for most kids. Same here though, I'll probably still love animated films when I'm older. They're definitely not just for kids and a lot of them have good messages to them.

Frollo, although he's a villain, definitely has some good traits, so yeah, there's definitely nothing weird about it. Hm, I suppose he's probably in his fifties. I should pull out my HoND DVD again and see if it says anything about his age. I honestly don't think it's too weird about younger kids liking older guys. I've actually always liked guys a lot older than me. I guess the maturity aspect is appealing.

Your Envy costume looks really nice! That's cool about how you dressed up as a Slytherin student. I absolutely love Harry Potter and Slytherin is my favorite house by far. How about you? I'm guessing you're a Harry Potter fan as well?

That makes a lot of sense. I'd probably feel extremely self conscious at a convention. In general, my goal in life is to remain invisible from most people, so yeah...cosplaying may not be the thing for me. It just looks like fun though and I love dressing up. xD When I was a little girl, I would always try to find stuff around the house to make costumes with, lol.

I don't really know if I have a specific age range of guys I go for....they can either be older, my own age, or younger(I mean obviously never younger than 18+ though). I mean, I don't really like to limit age so much as an adult because I feel like if I limit age, I'm potentially cutting out some great guys just because their age isn't close to mine. I mean, I do of course find it more optimal if guys are within about 10 years of my age one way or the other(since I'm 28 I guess that would mean guys who are 18-38). I'm not going to totally count out someone who's older though if he's a great guy.

I've noticed that some girls don't want to date anyone younger than them. I mean even guys who are only a year or 2 younger. Although that is their choice, I've never really understood that one. Especially once you're all adults and people are more likely to act mature. I just feel like they're cutting out potential great guys who are actually in the same age group as them anyway.

Also, thanks. Yeah cons stress me out because I'm actually pretty introverted(I'm more open online). I mean I like the attention to an extent because it's great to get recognition for something....but I think I like the aftermath of it more, like once all the pictures have been taken and I like people online commenting on it more than people coming up to me in person because in person I just got all butterflies in my stomach...that nervous feeling....and I just started to feel ill from it all.

Anyway, yes I love the Harry Potter series. Slytherin is my favourite too, although on Pottermore(not sure if you are a member there) I'm in Hufflepuff. My boyfriend is in Slytherin though. LOL.

I agree with you about the age range when it comes to guys. I'm 17 at the moment, so I try to stick with guys anywhere from 15-22 for now, but when you're older as an adult, I think you can give or take ten years in either direction since everyone is mature as an adult. I wouldn't want to dismiss a guy with a really great personality just because of age, you know? That would be silly.

I don't understand why some girls are so against dating younger guys either. I dated a younger guy for a little while and he was really nice. I have no problem with a guy being a few years younger than me even at my age. I guess some girls maybe just think that the guy should always be the older one in a relationship? I'm not sure.

No problem! =3 I definitely understand how the conventions could end up being really stressful. I'm a LOT more open online than I am irl. I barely talk irl and shyness could be my middle name. Are you the same way? I definitely see why you'd like the aftermath more. I like posting pictures online and getting comments online as well. Also, I definitely relate to that butterflies in your stomach feeling. I always end up feeling ill whenever I'm stressed. Maybe that's due to anxiety?
