Appearance
Grell initially appears as a meek, slender man with long brown hair tied back with a red ribbon, along with bright green eyes and large round glasses. He dresses simply, mostly in black clothes.
However, in his Shinigami form, Grell has long, dark red hair, shark-like teeth, and red-framed glasses which are accessorized with a neck chain adorned with skulls. He also wears a suit that includes gloves, bow tie, high-heeled ankle boots, and a red coat with a black bow on the back that he took from Angelina's corpse, which he slings off his shoulders and wears around his elbows. Grell loves the color red.

Erin held up a bass fish. "Watch this." She put on a red wig and held up the bass face to face with it. "I'm Grell Buttcliff!" She mocked. "...And I would dream of bearing Bassie's guppies."

Helga was seeing Grell, as she hid behind his room. She glared at him, as she didn't like him and felt inferior to him. She looked at his death scythe, in which was a chainsaw, and looked dissapointingly at hers, in which was a pickaxe.

"Big sis! Big sis, I have a question!" Kurea bounced up and down excitedly after wandering the Shinigami headquarters for hours, finally finding Shinigami she was looking for.

Grell couldn't help but grin when he saw he running over. Crouching down to her level he smiled softly "Yes darling?"

"Oh! Well, see, I've been looking all around headquarters today, and I've met just the sweetest people and, oh! I saw big brother Eric and he showed me a bunch of really cool things around and then Alan made him come back to work, so I found big brother Ronald and he was flirting again with more ladies, and they weren't really nice ladies, but everything else was...." she began to get sidetracked, caught up in her excitement of seeing him, but then she finally remembered why she was looking for him in the first place. "Ah, that's right! I wanna ask, how do you try and find a boy that you like? 'Cause lots of people my age have fiancee's already, and even Ciel, and It's so confusing because when I go to parties with Ciel and Lizzy, people say to me that it's frowned upon not to have a fiancee, so I need to find one quick!" she nodded vigorously. "But I wonder, I have a few people in mind, but oh, how do you tell a boy you like them? 'Cause you're good at that with William and Sebastian!"

Grell sweatdropped as Kurea said he was 'good' with William and Sebastian. Both of them hated him, with a fiery passion. Although Grell did in actuality have quite the crush on William. "Ehh~??" He asked. "Why would you ask me out of all people?" The red head was obviously bad with picking up guys. Grell was even still a virgin still to this day and hopeless at romance. He let out a deep breath hearing the young girls words. "Sweetheart!" Trying to snap her out of the babbling he continued. "First off, I am going to be honest here, I have never been in a real relationship. Why? Because I'm hopeless! Even if I don't want to admit it , I am." Placing a hand on Kurea's cheek as he continued "And you don't have to have a fiancé! In my opinion you are far to young to get married. But them again when am I right." He chuckled with a soft smile. "You are a young beautiful girl. And instead of being forced into marriage I truly believe that specially You . " He poked her nose happily. "Have the right to find somebody who you truly will fall in love with. Somebody that . . . . That makes you feel butterflies in your stomach when you see them! Somebody who will get himself killed just for you!" Grell stood up and ruffled her hair. "And if you truly like a boy, telling him can be hard but you just have to do it because you are a strong girl"

A pink blush of awe spread across Kurea's cheeks as her doe-like eyes widened even further, sparkling in amazement at his little speech. She always had hung onto every word Grell said. He was her idol, and she followed him around like he was a mother duck and she was his cute little duckling. The brunette nodded vigorously, wrapping her arms around the shinigami's neck and nuzzling her nose into his long hair. She never did think he was bad with men. She thought he was perfect in every way. Besides, who was she going to go to for advice? Ronald? The female was happy that she had such a wonderful protecter, teacher, all of it.

Grell blinked as Kurea hugged him. A soft smile played on his lips as he held her tightly. Kurea brought up an other side of Grell the side of Grell he kept hidden. The Shinigami was in actuality a sweet caring young man, but he always kept it hidden with acting goofy and annoying. He kissed her forehead happily not giving two shits about the fact that younger Shinigami were watching.

"Big sis is so smart! I love you!!" She giggled childishly, nuzzling his neck. Kurea didn't have any decently behaving relatives alive, so she stuck with Grell most of the time. and that made her happy. She played with his crimson locks in her small fingers, and it made one forget that she was growing up, especially for an endearing parent-figure.

He giggled happily. "Thank you Darling~." Normally Grell didn't let anybody even touch his hair not even Sebastian or William. His hair was like holy. Kurea was the only one that could touch it.

"Ah! Yes! Let's go now! Now!" she grinned, hugging him again, as Ronald pranced in. "Hey semp--" he sighed, but grinned upon seeing their little guess. "Hello there, Kurea!" he ruffled her hair with a laugh, like an endearing big brother would. "What are you two up to?"

"Where's that? I want to go too!~" he grinned back, also acting quite childish as he hugged Kurea like a little teddy bear, his chin on top of her head. "D'awww, you're just the sweetest little thing!" he laughed at Kurea, who was still hugging Grell's arm protectively, but smiled innocently up at Ronald.

"Let go of the poor thing." He grumbled pulling Kurea close to him. "And no you can't come. She invited me not you." With a small huff Grell turned around holding Kurea's hand as he walked to his room, which was more like a mini-appartment. "Let's go sweetey."
As soon as they arrived he opened the door. As soon as he did, he let go of her hand giving her a small but caring smile. He assumed she would look around and what not. Taking of his crimson jacket he threw it on the couch, where it landed perfectly. Taking a swift turn he walked into his room changing into something more classy.
Not long after he walked back into the room. His hair pulled up into a what seemed like a mix between a bun and a ponytail. It was more a messy bun. He wore a something similair like his normal attire but more classy. Hell he looked fine In his left hand he had a red dress. He held it up. It was like the dress from Alice in wonderland but red and white. Grell held it up in front of her. 'What do you think~?" He asked giggling like a little schoolgirl.

"Yes!" Kurea nodded, cocking her head to the side with a sweet smile on her lips. She waved to Ronald, saying a cheerful goodbye to him, and then skipped off, letting Grell lead her away. Once they entered into Grell's familiar room. She loved it there, so warm and comforting, and filled with his familiar scent as well. Humming happily and smiling up at him sweetly as he let go of her hand, she plopped down on the room's red couch, a giggle flying from her pink lips a as she waited patiently for her 'idol' to return.
When he finally did return, her head jolted up in excitement, eyes filled with joy. She hurried over to him as though she were a little puppy greeting it's owner, and nuzzled his arm again, hugging it. When he pulled out the dress, she simply stared at it a moment, not quite knowing what to make of it. Then, a huge grin spread across her cheeks and she giggled once again. "I love it!" She chirped happily.

The red head grinned happily. "Well it's for you darling~." Grell had made the dress himself. It was one of his hidden talents, he always would make clothing like dresses, pants, jackets and what not just out of boredom.
He handed her the dress stroking her hair. "Go put it on honey." The Shinigami checked his hair in the old antique mirror that was in front of them. He looked damn fine, and for the first times looked like a classy good looking man. That any girl would swoon over.
