# About me

Hi there, :)
So I have been drawing,painting and sculpting since I was a child. I went through a period of time where life just kicks your butt and was distracted by many shiny things and so my art suffered, infact it was nonexistent. I joined this site because a good friend encouraged me to do so and never gave up on me or my unused artistic abilities. I have finally decided that I want to focus on my art no matter what.

I am a traditional artist that draws in both pencil and ink, I also paint with acrylics and sculpt using polymer clay. I haven't really dabbled in any art programs, but I most certainly want to learn so I can expand my abilities. I have no formal training and everything I do is either self taught or learned from other artists and tutorials.

Though I grew up doing alot of copy work(mainly Disney characters) these days most everything comes from my head, sometimes good, sometimes scary (not scary good, more like scary bad what was I thinking that looks like crap scary) and occasionally I get those pieces that make me sit back and think, wow I seriously did that (this is in a good way XD)

Once I get established I plan to open commissions and use a percentage of the money I earn for animal rescue. Currently I care for a small group of feral/abandoned cats in my neighborhood. Animal rescue and support of no kill shelters is a topic dear to my heart, and I hope one day to be able to open my own no kill shelter for unwanted animals that require rehabilitation and that extra dose of love and understanding.
