Alicea Burton, was not thrilled with her lot in life. She was still anywhere from two, to three semester’s away from graduating with her degree in communications and advertising. Which to be perfectly honest she wasn’t sure what she would do with it once she had it. She was nearing the end of an unpaid internship with a local advertising agency, and she was pretty sure that if she had to do that as a career she would drink battery acid just so she could go ahead and end it all.
She had never been so disillusioned or bored in her entire life as when she had to sit in that office all day and “learn the ropes.” The ropes consisted of getting people's coffee, lunch orders, and of course endless filing and handing out inter departmental memos and the like.
Not once in the two months she had been working on the internship had she actually learned anything about advertising, and how to actually use her skill set an idea person, or an artist. No fancy jingles, or catch
