# About me
I'm a Canadian country kid with a passion for writing, painting and good music. I'm in college for Architecture, so needless to say I don't post all that often. When I do though, I like to think it's worth the wait. I typically post literature, though occasionally some traditional art sneaks in.I'm really very friendly and love a good debate or discussion, so if you're bored and feeling philosophical, send me a message! :D
No, I didn't draw my DA ID, I found it on the good ol' interweb for Pokemon Profile Month, and it pretty much sums me up :)

Yeah it has been! Sorry, I'm really not on here too often anymore. College and work are good. How are you? How's the boyfriend?

No worries, neither am I! I don't write much these days, so I mostly come here to keep my inbox down in the triple digits. Now if only I could lose interest in facebook in a similar manner...
I'm alright! I'm home for the summer, working. My boyfriend is fine. He's staying at our university over the summer to do research. I might go up to visit him next month, but I'm not sure yet.
Well it's always nice to talk to you, so try to keep in touch.

I don't either, I'm kind of addicted to Tumblr these days though. I do RP now (apparently, still not sure how I got into it) and I like to call it writing.
Good! I'm still in school since my program goes through the summer. How long have you two been together for?
Nice to talk to you too! And I will!

Rping on tumblr? Interesting. Most people in Write Club (at college) also do that sort of thing, but I think I missed the boat there. Fine with me I guess.
Oh boo, summer school. At least you'll get more credits that way?? And we've only been together 3 months, so far!

Yeah, it's an interesting set up and I'm enjoying it. It really gets you inside a characters head and I'm trying to apply it to my own writing.
Yeah it's a complete semester that goes through the summer, I switched programs after first semester and started a new one in January. This way the people who started in September got the summer off sync back up with us for third semester in the fall. Confusing, I know. XD
3 months already? Yay you guys!

Tara-E-H In reply to HeAdMiNiOn19 [2013-07-13 02:26:53 +0000 UTC]
No, it's not that confusing when you explain it. It actually makes a lot of sense to do it that way, lol. So do you really get any break to speak of?
Haha thanks! An acquaintance of mine and his girlfriend celebrated 2 years together the other day. In college dating time, that's what? Decades?

HeAdMiNiOn19 In reply to Tara-E-H [2013-07-15 16:56:55 +0000 UTC]
I suppose it does, in a kind of confusing sot of way I got a week off just before Canada Day and I get another one off the last week of August.
Holy, yeah that's basically decades in college dating time I'm almost at 15 months with my boyfriend but it feels really weird to say that, haha.

Woo Β 15 months! Girl, I'm quite impressed that your relationship survived the leap from high school to college. There are always those that don't, so good for you two! Can I ask who is older, and by how much?

HeAdMiNiOn19 In reply to Tara-E-H [2013-07-18 14:49:17 +0000 UTC]
Thanks, I was a little surprised myself Though he was already in college when we met so the transition wasn't too bad. He's 3 years older than I am Β

Tara-E-H In reply to HeAdMiNiOn19 [2013-07-21 02:47:05 +0000 UTC]
Oh my goodness THANK YOU. Haha well my boyfriend is also three years my senior, so it's nice to see another couple like us that has lasted for a while (at our ages, obviously ).
Plus a lot of my peers are surprised when I mention his age. That results in comments like, "So how's your TWENTY-TWO YEAR OLD boyfriend doing?" or now that he graduated this year "How's your GRAD SCHOOL boyfriend?"Β
Not that it really bothers me, but after a while it's like, geez, is it really that surprising?
π: 0 β©: 1
HeAdMiNiOn19 In reply to Tara-E-H [2013-07-22 14:11:19 +0000 UTC]
Welcome Yay! Yeah when you're both in college it's not too bad, that age gap seems smaller than say a 16 and 19 year old
Hahaha, I don't get that too often but I sometimes make fun of him for being "an old man" His friends like to say that he "robbed the cradle" when we first started dating since I was still in high school.Β
Most of my friends are the adult students in my class so they're not so interested in it

Tara-E-H In reply to HeAdMiNiOn19 [2013-07-23 01:30:39 +0000 UTC]
Sure, you do have a good point. Of course the difference is more noticeable than it would be for, say, a 30 and 33 year old. But definitely not as bad as both being teenagers. I remember in middle school when a small minority of my classmates would start dating high schoolers, and I was like, "What in the WORLD?!"
Haha, I definitely like the "cradle robber" bit. It would have felt crazy to me to be a high schooler and say, "I'm dating a college man!"
Β I make fun of him too (my bf, not yours lol). He'll say something like, "I remember that Β from high school." And I'll retort, "I remember that too, but I think I was in diapers at the time." Β
When you say "adults" do you mean individuals quite a bit older than you? I know you and I would be considered adults in the normal sense, but most of my peers call people like our parents "real adults" as opposed to, well, us!

HeAdMiNiOn19 In reply to Tara-E-H [2013-08-04 03:27:54 +0000 UTC]
Oh yeah, or when freshmen start dating seniors and it's just like "...whaaaaaat???"
"Yeah it really was pretty crazy, though we only started officially dating in May and I finished high school in June. But I did feel pretty badass bringing a college guy to prom XD.Β
Don't worry, I'm sure mind wouldn't mine if you did, haha. I call him an old man for fun sometimes, and he grows facial hair like crazy and it feels really weird to be like "Did you shave today?" Sometimes I forget how old we really are.Β
Yeah, one of my closest friends in school is actually closer to my parents' age, but we get along really well! Β

Tara-E-H In reply to HeAdMiNiOn19 [2013-08-18 01:01:35 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, that would be a pretty awesome prom. That reminds me: how did you guys meet? I don't think I ever asked!
"Sometimes I forget how old we really are. " Me too, all the time! It blows my mind to think that I'm turning 20 this year. And I understand the facial hair thing; I let my boyfriend know in no uncertain terms that beards or even scruffy faces are not welcome around me at all.
Well, it's great to have friends of all ages!
How are you liking the Last Bison?

HeAdMiNiOn19 In reply to Tara-E-H [2013-08-22 17:20:13 +0000 UTC]
It was pretty fun ^^. We actually met when both of us were working at Walmart! lol we had like 2 shifts together before I quit then he friended me on Facebook and we got talking and started hanging out and that's kind of how it happened How about you? How did you guys meet?
I know, I'm turning 19, like I'm going to be old enough to drink and that blows my mind!Β
I'm not too picky with facial hair, he has a goatee that suits him, but he's occasionally let it go to a full face beard and its just "No, you're not putting that anywhere near my face"
It is! The rest of the people my age in my class are...let's just say not my kind of people
I LOVE THEM!

Tara-E-H In reply to HeAdMiNiOn19 [2013-08-31 04:22:58 +0000 UTC]
Haha! The 2 shifts at Walmart that changed everything! Who would have guessed it, right?
As for us, we met toward the beginning of last school year when I was a first-year and he was a fourth-year. We lived at the same residential college (dorm-type thing) and said residential college organized an outing that we both went on. A number of us were waiting outside for the bus and I was talking to some exchange student and he just walked up to to the two of us and started talking!
Ah, I forgot you're Canadian-- we can't drink here legally until we're 21. Since I live at a university, booze isn't hard to get if you're underage, but I'm not a drinker. Thus part of the reason I'm sitting on deviantart on a Friday while a bunch of people are out partying.
And speaking of which, deviantart says your birthday is today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGAN! Have a great day, and here's to many more!

Oh dear, it has been far too long! Thanks for the birthday wishes, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!Β Β Β
This semester has been kind of crazy. I'm about to declare one major and apply to my other. Scary times!
My boyfriend is doing well! He's actually going to stay with us for Christmas, so I'm meeting him at the train station after work today! I met his parents (who live in China) over skype several months ago and it seems like they like me a lot, so phew!
And as for me, I'm just trying to keep it all together. I'm sure you're no stranger to the Christmas rush. It feels like I never leave work, but I'll be taking some days off soon!
And how are you, Meg? What have you been up to for the past several months?
