# About me

I'm a 30-something woman from Illinois with a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology and an obsession with spiders and werewolves. I listen to metal a lot, mostly progressive and power metal. I go to ProgPower every year, so if you attend, you should say hi to me. :)

I take a lot of photos with only the very basics learned in a photography class when I was 11 or so. I love sunlight and shadow, so you will probably see a decent ammount of that here (with a cat residing in both, often enough.) The majority of my photos are taken with a Sony DSC-W120. It's a little point and shoot. All in all, I think it takes nice photos, especially if the subject is close up and not moving. :D

Since I'm a sponsor, I automatically have VIP access. I pick up my VIP pass on Friday in the AM. I did, however, have to purchase tickets for Thursday night, and if I liked Evergrey, would have had to for Wednesday night. But I'm only going to metal karaoke after Evergrey's acoustic set on Wednesday. Not seeing Evergrey that night.

Though I enjoy looking at the DD's each day, I rarely favorite them. The more I look at the photo, the more I like it! And the more I've decided I have a girlcrush on your model, even though you can't see much of her here. She's my new hero for all the stuff she allows to happen.

ProgPower is insane ammounts of fun. I go every year with my boyfriend. He's been to every single ProgPower, I only started for PP8. I don't intend to miss any more, if I can help it. This year's ProgPower has me insanely excited. You should definitely try to make it out again! Always a good time.
