you're so lucky, it's only a nickname for me... the 'e' is pronounced like the 'ae' in 'Daenerys' and the 'y' is like the 'i' in pink (but I guess the second one is obvious) :D (Big Grin) for me it comes from the name Hedvig, it's been my favourite for so long. my real name is Eszter (or Esther in english) which is nice too but it's just really common here in Hungary and Hedvig is kind of rare

mine is pronounced head-y (my friends tease me and call me that -_-) but that's a cool way to say it

there seem to be so many different ways to say it!
