How much of an artist you are cannot, and is not, measured by the quality of your work in others' eyes. To be an artist is to express yourself in any way, shape, or form, no matter what others think of it. Your work is perfect and beautiful-no matter what anyone else has to say.
I've never agreed with 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.' It seems far to objective. Some people may see no beauty and will turn their in to harsh words turned against another. Instead, I prefer 'Beauty is in the eye of the creator.' It doesn't matter what others think of your work. You created something and that in its own right is beautiful. You've done what so many are far too fearful to try, and in doing so you have created beauty.
Never doubt your skills or compare it to others. Comparison is the thief of joy, and we all deserve to be happy with our own little pieces of beauty.

It was a birthday/Christmas present from my friends ^^ SO much fun. We saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, I got a SIGNED bobby flay cookbook, and we did a shit load of shopping. The weather was perfectly freezing and the Rockettes were a joy to see. Best trip of the year.
It's a 2007 Ford Fusion. His name is Simon. There are many other cars like my Simon but this one is mine. ;-;

Sorry for freaking out... ^^' eheh. Sorry, none of my friends speak make-up, and I just needed to tell someone the grand news.
It was beautiful! I got new MAC lipstick, and a shit ton of clothing, and a bunch of new pictures for my room. And the shoes. Dear lord they're beautiful. I love everything I got there.
He's covered in snow ;-; freak snow storm came around 2 this afternoon. It was pretty lawls cause my sister and I were watching Phantom of the Opera and right before 'Say You'll Love Me' it starts snowing. Then we saw snow outside and screamed because yesterday it was literally in the 80's.

AW WUUUUT??? URBAN DECAY??? w00t w00t!! I got an awesome 16-piece OPI nail polish collection plus a glitter topcoat!! It's wicked because just the other day I was cleaning out our nail polish cupboard, and had to throw out about 3/4 of our stock cuz it was ancient! I also like how they're all mini-bottles, so there's not as much waste.
I didn't get a lot while in NYC...we didn't stay long because our competition was in Boston. Plus, I was poor. But it was still thrilling! Man, I wish I could have afforded a pair of shoes. That would have been so cool!!

I use nail polish in an attempt to KEEP me from picking/biting my nails. Knowing I have something on them prevents me from ruining them...sometimes.
AWWW there were combat boots froooomm...Aldo?...that I want SO BAD! But I don't really have anything to put them with, sadly enough, plus, they are a little pricey...though not $1400 pricey. Yeesh. Hooray for inflation and designer brands. I once saw a Chanel handbag for $7400 or something, but it was SO BORING. It was just quilted cover with glossy trim in old-granny-tan. It was the ugliest thing I've ever seen, and just because of it's name, it was so bloody expensive. Naw man, I'd rather pay that kind of money for a fair-trade, handmade bag from India. Know that I'm doing SOME sort of good with my rampant consumerism.
Haha, whales from the sky! I want piccys of that! But it's gotten weird here, too. Been super cold lately, but Monday's gonna be +8 degrees, followed by Tuesday's high of -1. Go figure.
