Je suis tombΓ© sur tes photos ! Wow tu a vraiment beaucoup de talent ! J'adore les avenues que tu prends! Est-ce que tu fais des photos de spectacles ou des portraits d'artistes par hasard ?

Wow, you make really good pictures!
Do you photograph for a living, or as a hobby?

Sorry for the delay, exams and projects are just crazy.
Actually, photography is for me a great way to express myself and is a big hobby of mine.
While I didn't load pictures on DA since last summer, you can check out my blog here ([link] ). I shot a local band but I'm looking forward to collaborate with anyone out there because I really like it but I'm very interested in any projects people bring to me.
If you have any questions, I'm there.
Thank you again,
Emilie.

Is allright, I'm busy myself too
So you're going to be a photographer in the future? is it like your dream?
Oh, and do you have any tips & tricks for me? to improve myself?
Thanks
Laura

Because I'm actually very interested in many medias that involve arts, my own goal is to pursue a career where creation is great part of the process. Graphic designer is actually what I am aiming for but if I see that photography takes more and more place and time in my life, I would be interested to be a part time photographer in my local community for events and parties.
My main tip for you is gonna be to bring you camera everywhere. (If you,re not already doing that) Because you have a digital SLR, you can explore many possibilities with the versatility of such a good camera; don't be afraid to visit local photography shops, know more about new techniques and take a thousand pictures. Don't buy that thousand dollar gadget; you can make stunning pictures with a little bit of imagination, that, I'm sure, you have and that shows already through your photos.
Γmilie.

Thanks for the tips Im going to take my camera along a bit more But I have to be careful I donΒ΄t break it, it is such an expensive thing..
I was thinking about buying a macro-lens, is that a good idea?
(have to get money somewhere first)

No problem
Yes, do so, I'm sure, with time and practise you'll get better at composing and enhancing the subjects in your photos.
If you don't have the money for the oh-wow gadgets for macro lens, I suggest you play more with the parameters of your camera and just go out, explore. Get in touch with your community, with your school, with a photo club in your area, propose your services for some local bands or actors that need exposure.
And if you're really interested in buying a great, great lens that is versatile (and that can do close to something like macro photography for amateurs), I do suggest you the amazing 50mm. Whether what brand of camera you have, it can offer a great dof and a quality you haven't seen years before for a cheap price. Also, it exercises you very well to photography because the 50mm (f 1.8 but f 1.4 is great too if you have more money) is a prime lens. (That means the zoom is you, your legs.) So anywhere you go, you will get the reflexes of taking a photo rapidly and in your kind of way.
Do some little researches and I hope that I helped you,
Γmilie.

wow, thanks for the tips
I appreciate you taking time to explain that kind of stuff to me
I will make sure to remember the things you say, and I will do some research on the net and maybe in the library.
I went into the forest with a friend of mine, the day before yesterday, to make some pictures. I will put them on my deviant soon, maybe you could take a look at it? (don't feel obliged - if that is the word- I just thought you could take a look at it and maybe criticize my work. I'd truly appreciate it if you would)
