I'm good.  Recently had thyroid surgery so that's a thing.  I'm now missing the right lobe of my thyroid, need a blood test to see if I need meds.  But I'm good.

Wow I hope everything is a-ok with your health.

I wouldn't say life has been really bad for me, but unfortunately I've developed crippling mental disorders along the way. They made me unable to function in society, such as just being able to work a job, so I'm stuck on SSI permanently. It sucks being a burden to society, but even with heavy medication and therapy weekly forever, nothing seems to work.

I haven't given up yet. I seem to be able to volunteer at the animal shelter with a max limit of two hours per day. I think I will try doing part time there when I can.

I understand times are tough for everyone. People I know who are capable of working keep getting laid off, so they're like on an endless search for jobs all of the time and living by paycheck yo paycheck because of it. If you have troubke paying rent I suggest looking into HUD Housing in your area if you're planning that place to be your permanent residence. It takes a long time to get onto the list, but they provide real housing, like actual houses at half or even less the rent cost of what it normally is depending on your income.
