# About me
I was born in South Africa and lived my first 26 years of my life there. I am now living in The south of Austria.I have drawn all my life. As a kid, I would draw in my school books, starting at the back of the book and soon the drawings would overtake the school work.
Most of my drawings are of African wildlife. Being from Africa, it is hard not too fall in love with the beauty of the nature and wildlife it offers. I do other subjects but my first love will always remain wildlife.
I am a fully qualified Golf Professional and work 7 to 8 months of the year at one of the best course in Europe (KGC Dellach). During the winter months I take golf groups for trips to South Africa. It is also during the winter months that I get to draw and pursue my second career as an artist. I work mainly on commissioned works. I do draw during the golf season, but not as intensely. I like to keep my skills up.
I draw in coloured pencil or in graphite. I tend to prefer larger works as one can get more detail into the picture. The larger works are time consuming, but hey, in winter I have the time.
