Yeah, we should just go easy for a while until we are really invested in it - which is likely to happen lol. The hardest part is always getting started.
Having my own site is a wish for me, but for now it is a dream still long in coming and I will probably be posting any comics I make to smackjeeves or here as 'tests' to see how audience responds. I will be really focusing on that, i think, because I've become really eager to actually do something with my art. Like you know, I have so many ideas, but I hardly ever do anything with them....
We can discuss the title over skype if you'd like. It may be easier to talk about it in a conversation than through notes lol. Once we got a title, I'll do a cover, no problem.

Well it was..... ehhhh not TERRIBLE. Like, not as bad as I thought it'd be, lemme put it that way.
BTW, I did START on my pages for our intended comic.... but I know it fell through because I was just not liking them. I had been out of work and dealing with my depression and health issues, so stuff went to shit.
We can try again if you want, but maybe it'd be better if you started. I still really want to do it.

a redo of that Lemons thing lol. Well, we could always start with their pasts first - like, you could just write a little about Joe or something and when my turn comes i'll add in Jez. Or, if you would like them to have already met at some point (we could always explain that later), we could just make up a new idea with them having to team up for some reason.

btw idk what sort of depression you've been going through. but if you ever need someone to hear you out, some cheap chat, I'm usually around.
Okai, I don't like changing the original ideas I have about characters so I'd rather see them as enemies at first. Maybe something similar to what vegeta and goku had.
I guess I can remake my pages but following the same script.
Also I have to warn you that I don't write or speak english anymore, so I'm sorry if we face any communication issues.

I don't mind having it public, I'm proud of drawing with other artists so I'd enjoy having it here.
In a month I'll be on vacations so I'll be able to focus on this project a lil bit.
About translations I'll leave the onomatopoeias with you since the english ones are too confusing for me.

Oh yes, I did know about this lol
My honest opinion on it is this; I think it looks great. As much as some fans want to bitch and moan about some characters looking different b/c their size has increased or they now have some articles of clothing besides tennis shoes, the story itself seems both endearing and interesting and to me harkens back to the days of SatAM - but maybe a little more child-friendlier.
The animation is really good, the jokes seem pretty good and even though there are things that will undoubtedly be different, maybe even cringe-worthy, I think change is natural amongst long-running series to keep a steady following. I mean, hell, Transformers has changed so much that it has a new canon every three years - but yet it still maintains an ever increasing fan-base.
So, I actually look forward to this show and game series because as a Sonic Nut i like to see how the series changes through both its ups and downs. But honestly, I have high hopes for this and I can tell I will like it already.

Yup, looks like we reached the same perspective about it lol.
At the first seconds I was like "Oh damn, why is he so tall and thin" but by the end of the trailer my eyes were already used to it.
Besides the idea and characters, I also found the colors very beautiful and saturated.
Cant wait for it.
About the game, I am not sure though. The only scene that I really enjoyed was the one he is walking on the water. That brought good memories.

i think they only looked tall because there was no human/robot characters in the pic to compare them too.

On another subject, about our overdue collab... you think you would be interested in doing a collab comic project with me? Ya know, kinda like how we all tried the "Lemons" thing but there was just too many people and it didn't work. if it was just us going back and forth I think it wouldn't be so bad - and it wouldn't have to be a long one... maybe just something short like you suggested before. Though, I say this withough really having an idea myself, I would like to do something with my characters Jez and Xaphon from the Lemons thing. Maybe they meet Joe and Damon (that was the pencil's name right?) for the first time or something.

What do you think about we not setting a lot of rules (like how long it should be) and just do it, and see how it goes?
You can set how often the updates have to be.
Sure, we can use our characters from lemons, would be nice resurrecting them hehe

Awesome :3 I admire your work as well, even though I'm not here as much as I used to be...
The only thing I would suggest is that we stick with a 3-5 page update from each of us. We don't have to set really a plot or anything - kinda like we're writing a roleplay or something. An I think maybe we just update when we have a chance, but attempt to make it once a month or something. Say you were updating with 3 pages in mind, you could just post a page every week and when your last page is up - you'd let me know and then i'd post mine. Hopefully that doesn't seem confusing. 
For a long time I'd been wanting to bring those character back but i thought it would be too much of a hassle to have as many people as we did before working on it this time around...

It would prolly make it a bit more dynamic, even though I know
u prolly don't have time for that.
Warning the other person that you are done seems ok to me.

It makes me kinda sad that the project didnt workout well.
I keep wondering if its cause I lacked the skills to keep up with the rest of the group.

In any case, maybe this will allow me to talk to u more often, even if its not in a direct way.

i think i can handle a page a week... I'll try to get it up probably in the next couple of weeks, so it might be a month before you can start on your part unfortunately
I know, I liked the idea of a bunch of artists coming together to do a giant collab but everyone just had different schedules. Some were in school or had personal issues, or didn't get on dA much...
It had absolutely nothing to do with your artistic ability or anything you did - you were great! it was just that there was too many people involved I think and it was a mistake on my part to make the other artists wait for so-and-so to update before they could.
Really, if anyone is to blame - it's me... for not planning the whole thing out well.
