Yo. IZ:TDM!It's a fan film.
It was supposed to be an ending for IZ.
But as we were making it, SURPRISE SURPRISE, Nickelodeon decided to launch an official IZ tv movie.
Now we're just gonna finish what we started because too many people put too much effort into this to justify shutting it down. Seriously. :)

Hey there man. I just watched both videos on your channel. I totally understand and respect your decision. When I began my idea for my personal invader Zim movie, I faced the same issue as you: it was just too ambitious. Couple that with my interest in making original content and ultimately I came to the point (regardless if I explicitly told myself this) that my fan film would have to be a fan fiction, or simply not even be made at all.
Also, I think I see what youβre saying about your project versus the real thing, and I get it. I actually had a similar reaction too regarding my fan fiction. After seeing that the art is similar to the comic, that kinda threw me for a loop in terms of what my idea was for my fan fiction. But I mostly thought about you when I saw the official trailer. I actually was kinda thinking the same thing: βwow, this is really good....β And just now Iβm starting to understand how much stress and anxiety you must be under.
My point is, donβt beat yourself up over this. You were, and still are, an amazing person. The project was awesome and it always will be, but donβt let it kill you. Even if it means throwing in the towel. Personally, Iβm just happy that I was able to help you with even a small part of the project. It gave me some very valuable experience and taught me how to storyboard correctly. I can never thank you enough for that. Thank you so much for everything, Stanley! Please donβt beat yourself up over this.

Yep. I've already shared my thoughts in a few videos and posts . 
-Audio Only Story (with a narrator so people know what's going on)
-Polished Animatic (aka "limited animation")
-Puppet Show
-Art Show (which I'll explain later in a future video)
So, depending on what people vote on, we'll see if/how we'll use storyboards.

1. Nope. I've been keeping a low enough profile, and the most they can do is send a cease-and-desist. Once that happens, I'll naturally remove the project from the public eye and only work on it in private, so as not to conflict with any C&D letter.
2. I want to release it publically, but - knowing this won't happen due to legal issues - I'll probably publish it somewhere private and simply provide a link to people who ask for it.
3. Yes, I have, but it's only really picked up since 2015, where I got all the voice actors needed and FINALLY got the voices recorded this year. Concept art is still coming along slowly.
4. At times, but I always keep it going by having others do what's necessary for it. One guy can't do it all without feeling too much stress, hence why I source out help from volunteer artists.
5. He hasn't, and I'd assume he's not okay with it, all things considered.

Oh, they're all fans of the show who wanted to volunteer and help out. A long time ago I had a bunch of auditions to see who matched the voices best, and there you have it: I picked out the people that worked the best for each character part.
I'm not hiding their names. No point in that. If you go to my YouTube channel and look for "The Questioning" video, then if you open up the description (or look at the credits at the end of the video) you will see a list of all the Canon character parts.
As for using pre-done voice recordings from the actual show, that would most certainly not work. XD it would sound absolutely atrocious trying to splice the right sentences together and stuff. Especially since the entire script is made up from scratch, not the script of any unfinished episode.
