# About me
In English:Well, basically, I'm just an average 17 year old who has a thing for drawing. I try to draw with my own style, which is kind of cartoonish. And I use my own characters (That are based off of SOMETHING from my life; people, events, etc. But there are occasional stock characters.). I kind of think my drawings are awful and I still do think that, but hey, I guess I'm just my worse critic. I am a proud Fil-Am and I do have a dual citizenship in both the Philippines AND the U.S. I was a popular creator on Flipnote Hatena by the username Boomer. But the website is deactivated now, so...

Now for a bit of my personal life, if you stalkers want to know...
I live in Pennsylvania, and I am 17 going on 18. I love to play soccer and ski as well as draw and play airsoft. I have one younger brother who shares a love for drawing, and parents that are immigrants from the Philippines. I am what most of my friends call, a hang-loose, happy-go-lucky, Filipino that likes to joke around. Very few people have seen me be serious about something. Because of my cultural upbringing,
I look at things a lot differently than most of you Americans do. I was raised with the Filipino culture. But aside from that, I enjoy American culture AND Filipino culture alike, and I seem to fit in well with the....whites. XD Most people say I'm very sensitive and self-loathing sometimes, but hey, that's just me. But I'm also eager to make lots of new friends and meet many new people online and in the real world. After all, my aim in life is to make a positive impact on everyone I meet. So feel free to drop me a line if you want to get to know me better! I'd be happy to try to spark up a conversation! I have to warn you, I do have occasional "socially awkward moments" but if you look past that I think we'd get along just fine.

Yeah I've tried flash in school years ago but it was just too difficult to use, I heard flipnote studio 3D was basically the same but with more colours

I tried a pirated version of flash, but I never understood anything on it nor how to use it so I just simply gave up. It is, but the sharing of the flip notes is actually very limited. I don't really know, but it could also be me not being used to drawing with a tiny DS screen and stylus again. XD

Ugh, lucky! I wish I could have a solitary dorm all to myself! I just have to pay extra, guh. I'll be in a mountain of debt by the time I get out, which is why I'm actually considering selling that eBook. There's an iOS app for that now? Last I checked there wasn't. Mind sending me a link? I wish I knew how to pay all that off quickly. XD Thanks so much! This will really come in handy! And sort of kind of. I would love to animate again, but I couldn't find a program as sufficient and user friendly as Flipnote Hatena that's available for the Mac. Otherwise animating would be a huge pain. It's more of a hobby more than anything else though and its so difficult to find the time to make animations. What about you?

It's okay 😊 & I do now and again but not as often as I used to on flipnote, no other program is that simple to use. I might consider buying a 3Ds when flipnote 3D comes out in the UK

I want to so badly, but I no longer have the time and patience to do so. Just draw. It's a really great animating program! It really is! If I could find a program like that for my computer then I'd gladly use it to animate, but all I found were ones too complicated and hard to even get the controls right on. I have Flipnote Studio 3D on mine. It's just... disappointing, if you ask me.

Mine's acting strange too, it's fine. I try to when people approach me. I've been too busy to approach people first so it just takes a quick line from someone to get me going. Oh wow! That's really something! I'm not going off to University until August 20th, and I'm majoring in Physician Assistant studies, and I'm nervous but also excited. I still plan on drawing and writing as a hobby though. I've been pretty okay really. Had a longterm girlfriend break up with me and got pretty bummed out about it. So bummed that it inspired me to write an immense novel. I'm surprised to be hearing from you considering that you didn't seem too active here on deviantART.

Same here! I'll be away from home for the first time but also excited to start life as an adult. Although, I wish I didn't have to be forced to have a roommate. Indeed. Really big. I'm actually thinking about publishing for some extra cash to help with student loans, but I personally think it's too mediocre to put on the market. It's not even done yet anyway. But that breakup brought out my inner writer, so it sort of lessens the pain. If I play my cards right, I can make some money off the work that break-up birthed. XD Wait, really? There's an app for deviantART now? Is it for iOS or android?

Thank you! That means a lot. I really wish I could've animated more, but my DSi broke so I kind of had no choice. I would animate here, but it's such a tedious process that I gave up after making a few. Although there are a lot of things I did on hatena that I really regret.

Mine was an entirely different story... Heh, I tend to have a habit of trying to fix things myself, especially electronics, and when my L and R buttons on my DSi stopped working. Well, long story short 14 years old me tried to fix it and only ended up breaking it even more to the point where it was unusable, forcing me to quit hatena as well.
Yeah, it was pretty bad. But I'm over it. I barely have the time to animate and let alone draw nowadays, but I still am. At least my hatena legacy is kind of remembered.

Your art is great! All it would've taken was perseverance and I'm sure you would've made it. I mean, I know I'm being a bit pretentious, but I started out as what they used to call a star beggar with mediocre artwork. All it took was me just making more and more flipnotes, and eventually I just gained recognition one day and it blossomed. All it takes is never giving up. (that's what the famous Gizmo used to say) And Hatena still being active, which obviously didn't happen.
