In 2006, a young, naive, 11 year old me posted a copy of one of your drawings (It was one from the Back to Gaia movie. So good) and you found it and I just feel like I needed to thank you for not shooting me down all those years ago. That was the first thing I ever posted on deviantart and I think that if you had been mad about me copying your work I don't think I would have continued drawing. Now Im entering my Junior year of college working on my Illustration degree! Thanks for being cool about me being a dumb kid.ย

Oh my gosh. @_@ I... I wish I remembered this! I encounter so many people and my memory's gone so spotty, haha. But! BUT!! We've all been there, really. I think a lot of us-- if not ALL of us, as fan artists-- have copied drawings we admire from time to time, especially when we're young and learning. And I think in some ways it's really important for us to do that, on an emotional level. I've accidentally hurt people in the past by being too harsh about the wrong things, and I suppose I've grown past that now, as that's literally the last thing I ever want to do. So uh, in the unlikely event that any of them see my reply here, I wanna apologize to them, too...
But, whoa-hey! Congratulations on getting into college!! That sounds amazing. I'm so happy I didn't screw everything up for you. ;w; I guess in some ways I.. I helped? Considering it's a strong enough memory for you to come back and tell me about it. Gosh. Thank you so much. You've really made my week, hon.
