Sorry for dealyed answer, but I was too busy to answer.
Β Usually I draw with ballpens (mostly black and blue, but sometimes with addition of red and green ), seldom I draw with common graphite pencils and recently I discovered some nice things that could be done with combination of red/sanguine, white and sepia pencils

My attention was drawn by similiarity of characters in "Descent..." with dead ones, wrapped tightly in their burial shrouds , as thought as at least some fraction of their older selfs died together with the Crucified One
