yes you should look into how they make music

They use a hacked NES with sounds that originated from megaman 2. Instead of actually using software to make the sounds for them, they create the notes themselves, creating the melody, and using guitars, basses, and drums as back up. This is an intersting way of doing this, and it shows that they really appreciate the work that they put in the music. Your right. That's what 8 bit music should be.

You really should get an actual music making program. Get some advice from people who have experience in making this sort of thing. Perhaps you could try asking PengoSolvent on youtube. He makes some pretty sweet music.

I seriously would try, but most of the music maker programs cost money, and not much that I have. I know a lot of people use Logic Pro, which is about 129 dollars. If I asked Pengo he will probably say he uses logic. So unfortunately Im gonna wait til I get enough money
